Qingming Shanghe Scene Snuffle: The original scroll, measuring 15 Chinese Feet in length, was painted approximately 900 years ago by a royal painter named Zhang Zeduan. It depicts life in Bianliang, the capital of the Northern Song Dynasty(960-1127AD).The image represents social life during the prime of the Song Dynasty with detailed scenes along the river during the Qingming Festival, a festival paying homage to dead ancestors.
